These terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) regulate the relationship between you, a user of our services or this website www.mindhealth.com.au (Mind Health Website) and Mind Health Associates Pty. Ltd. (‘Mind Health’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’).
A regular psychology session lasts 50-55 minutes. Our current session Fees and Rebates are published on our website.
Session fees are payable before or at the time of consultation by card or EFT. Other payment options can be arranged upon request.
If you are eligible to Medicare or private health insurance rebates, paid accounts may be electronically submitted to Medicare or your private health insurer on your behalf. Sometimes this may not be possible due to circumstances outside our control. Where this happens, our staff will usually recommend that you submit the account to Medicare or your private health insurer directly to obtain your rebate.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is payable by clients to secure their first appointment. Deposits are non-refundable but deductible from your invoice on or before its due date.
Bookings for group therapy or workshops can be made online through the corresponding course registration webpage. Payment of the full course is required to secure your place.
Late cancelled appointments impact your treatment progress and your clinician, who has set an hour of their time aside to see you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require 48 hours notice minimum. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within this period, or fail to attend, the cancellation fees below will apply (inclusive of GST) unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Cancellation of group therapy or group courses with less than seven days notice will incur a $95 fee.
Mind Health reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel group therapy sessions and courses without notice. Under these circumstances, clients can request a full refund or reschedule.
We are not an emergency or crisis response service and your clinician may not be contactable outside their regular work hours at our practice. In the event of immediate danger, please contact emergency services at 000. If you require crisis support or immediate counselling please refer to the Crisis and Emergencies page on our website, which includes 24/7 crisis support services information and contact numbers. Alternatively, present to your nearest hospital emergency facility.
